Insecurity reigns, as driver is hacked to death over ₦1, 000 revenue in Edo ___By Gidiga Group A yet-to-be identified truck driver has been hacked to death over alleged refusal to pay the sum of N1, 000 ticket slammed on him by touts reportedly employed by the Okpebholo-led government in Edo State. The tragedy spilled last weekend in Ahor Community by-pass, Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State. The daredevil revenue enforcers insisted the driver must pay the sum of ₦1, 000 ticket branded ‘Ahor Community Development Association’, after the now deceased driver initially offered ₦600; the matter degenerated, when the driver refused to pay ₦1, 000 strongly demanded by the agents, leading to a melee and he was eventually hacked with the wheel spanner of his truck.
