The retired Justice S. A. Omonuwa-led panel, which had its inaugural sitting on Wednesday in Benin, the state capital, ended its sitting on Friday with Shaibu or his counsel failing to show up. The panel had adjourned till Thursday for Shaibu to open his defence, and when he didn’t show up, he was given till Friday to come and defend the allegation against him, which he failed to do. Why Labour Party Candidacy Is Dead On Arrival

Image
In a bid for the gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party, Barr. Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata to subvert the State Character Principle of rotation by the majority of Edo whom they clamour for. I find it so bewildered and confounded to see the combination between Barr.  Olumide  Osaigbovo Akpata and Princess Oluyinka  Alufohai as the running-mate.This doesn't depict fairness, equity justice in a political shift of power to Edo Central.  From all indications, competence, character, capacity, value will be key factor to determine who becomes the Governor of Edo State come September 21, 2024. Let Edo people decide who the cap fits.

Great Benin: The Alcazar of Post-Colonial Culture and Its Relationship with the Europeans Since 1400 AD diligently depicts how the colonial system, specifically Western education, amplifies gender exclusion, which shattered her childhood dream.
