      In a shocking display of misplaced priorities, Governor Monday Okpebholo is set to commission painted road kerbs as a project after 60 days of inaction.

The commissioning according to available information is expected to happen along Airport and Sapele road to mark his 60days in office

He will also use the avenue to visit victims who were beaten by Agberos at Edo specialist hospital and UBTH.

This move has left many questioning the governor's understanding of the state's pressing needs.

The governor's decision to invest time and resources into painting road kerbs, rather than addressing more critical issues, has been met with widespread criticism.

Many are labeling this move as a desperate attempt to create a semblance of progress, rather than a genuine effort to drive meaningful change.

This lackluster project is a far cry from the promises made by Governor Okpebholo during his campaign.

The people of Edo State were expecting tangible solutions to their problems, not cosmetic fixes that do little to improve their lives.

As the governor prepares to commission this underwhelming project, the people of Edo State are left wondering what could have been achieved with a more focused and effective approach to governance.

The clock is ticking, and Governor Okpebholo needs to demonstrate a more substantial commitment to driving progress in the state not exhausting his energy on impeachments of local government Chairmen and other self indicting projects

The project's lack of substance and impact on the lives of Edo State residents is a far cry from the governor's campaign promises where the resources invested in this project could have been better utilized to address more critical issues facing the state.
