Edo LG Polls: Osayande takes Campaign to Etete Community

The re-election chances of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP flag-bearer, Dr Eric Osayande in the forthcoming local government council polls received overwhelming boost when he took his re-election campaigns to the residents of Etete community, Santana market traders, Erediauwa Keke riders,Yaris drivers association and landlords and land-ladies of Okundia Street.


At the palace of the Enogie of Etete where Dr Osayande interacted with the residents, the Enogie, HRH. Cedric Omorodion who spoke through the palace secretary, Mr Owie Osaretin Douglas appreciate the immediate past council chairman for the laudable projects he attracted and executed during his first term's tenure and appealed for the siting and construction of a primary school in the community.


Responding, Dr Osayande thanked the Enogie and residents of Etete community for their unflinching support through out his first term's administration.


While assuring them of his readiness to consolidate on his first tenure, the PDP chairmanship candidate asked the community for the provision of a piece of land for the council to construct the primary school as appealed for by them. He also promised to execute more developmental projects in the community immediately he is re-elected and sworn in.



At Santana market, the leader of the market, Mr Solomon Omoregie appreciated Dr Eric Osayande for his developmental strides and make appealed for the installation of an electricity transformer in the market as well as grading of earth roads leading to the market.


In his reaction, Dr Eric Osayande pledged to execute their request and appealed for the trader's support for the realization of his re-election aspiration.


At the meeting with the Erediauwa Keke unit riders, the PDP chairmanship hopeful reminded them of the need for them to support his re-election ambition and that he is meeting with them to get first hand information about their needs.


At Okundia Street where the former Council Chairman, Dr Osayande met with the landlords, land-ladies and inhabitants of the area, the residents who spoke through the Odionwere of the street, Mr Felix Amayo applauded the developmental efforts of the immediate past council chairman and requested for the installation of an electricity transformer donated to them by one of the resident to boost electricity supply to the area as well as the sand filling and grading of Okundia Street.


Dr Osayande in his reaction, thanked the Okundia landlords and land-ladies for their support and asked them to write to the council to enable the council issue a report for the electricity transformer to be installed for them. He further promised to grade the street.


At the Etete parliament, the parliamentarians who spoke through the patron, Mr Gregory Obazagbon and Chairman, Mr Friday Osemwengie eulogized Dr Eric Osayande for his developmental initiatives and strides across the local government area and urged him not to relent when he assumes office even as they promised to mobilize other inhabitants of the community to ensure his victory at the polls.


On the entourage of Dr Eric Osayande are his running mate, Hon Mrs Osamuyimen Idehen, the PDP LGA chairman, Pastor Paul Osazuwa, Councilorship Candidate for ward 6 Hon. Obosa Ogbeide, Former Secretary to the Council Barr Osagie Igbinomwanhia, Former Leader of the legislative Arm and Councilorship candidate for ward 7, Hon Kingsley Balogban. 


Others on the entourage are members of the Dr Eric Osayande's re-election campaign council led by Pastor Blessed Ighiwiyisi, Elder John Adodo, Pastor Festus Imarhiagbe, Mr Lucky Idemudia among others.
