In fidelity to galvanizing the vision articulated by the Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area, Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde, the Council ensures the cultivation of nurturing environment in schools before the resumption of  every new term.  There’s always a continuity of activities aimed at improving the Council’s education policy. New schools are built in communities where there are shortages along with renovation projects and provision of furniture to the institutions. 


In addition, the Local Government ensures the optimum condition of environmental health in Oredo schools by thoroughly cleaning the classrooms, the fumigation of the inside and external parts of the school buildings as well as the clearing of weeds in the premises. 

For Oredo Local Government, it seems that offering the pupils in the Council area the best chances of flourishing to their full God-giving  potentials, is an avowed philosophy  for which no effort is considered too great.

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
