 Ahead of Campaigns For The Edo State Local government council Election, the immediate past Council Chairman Dr. Eric Osayande has visited the Ikpoba-okha Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), to formally intimate them of his ambition to recontest for the Chairmanship Position in the forthcoming local government council Election in Ikpoba-Okha local government under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Speaking before the clergymen, Dr. Eric Osayande appreciated their unalloyed support for his administration during his first tenure as the Ikpoba-Okha council chairman.

He also formally told the gathering of his desire to return to the council so as to continue and finish the laudable developmental landmarks he started; hence, he is soliciting for their support and prayers.

Why listing his previous achievement, the former Council Chairman said there is no ward in the Local Government Area that did not benefit from his development strides. He also assured the Clergymen that more projects will be done if elected.

Responding, the clergymen thanked Dr. Eric Osayande for his visit and stated that based on his antecedents while in office, they have no doubt in his pedigree, capability and capacity to deliver on any of his promises.

We are happy you came here to see us today, why you were at the Council you never turn your back on us, you did not disappoint us, you stood by PFN, we believe this is our time to pay you back with our votes

The clergymen further threw their weight behind Hon. Dr Eric Osayande while prayers were made for his Victory at the council.

The Election is slated to hold on September 2,2023
