Pick Expression of Interest Form, promises To Campaign Based On Issues

The Edo state All Progressive Congress, APC, has recorded another victory as another of its bonafide member,.Hon Matthew Iduoriyekemwen has successfully purchased its Expression of Intetest form at the party's national Secretariat in Abuja.


This is making him and the current Edo state Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki as the two most qualified candidates for the governorship seat so far.

He has promised to campaigned based on issues as facts reveals that he is a bonafide member of the party, APC having duly registered in his constituency. He said he is in the race to serve the interest of Edo people.

Matthew asserted further that as a man of integrity and uprightness, he is well aware of the provisions of the party's constitution on qualification for any position which he fits in perfectly. 

He has declared that he is not in the race for any political jamboree or frivolity rather to protect and defend the intetest of Edo people and the party whenever occasion demands for it.

He reiterated the fact that if he loose to the current governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki since the State Working Committee, SWC of the party after its meeting has adopted Indirect primary for the candidates of the party, he is ready and willing to deploy his support for the governor as the party remains supreme.

He also said that should in the event that he defeated the governor, he wants to believe he will also work and support him to emerge as the governor of the State. 

It is clear from the foregoing that the alleged purchase of expression of interest form by the notorious fake pastor Ize Iyamu is an exercise in futility as he is yet to be a member of the party. The constitution of the party is clear in terms of who and who can contest for positions during the elections. Ize Iyamu is not a registered nor a member of the party.

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
