A frontline contender for the PDP Governorship candidacy in Kano State, Jafar Sani Bello has remarked that the selection of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the running mate  to the party’s flag bearer is a ‘’giant and strategic stride on the road to victory in 2023.’’ Jafar Sani Bello observed in a press release issued in, Kano, today ( Friday)  that the ‘’ combined political capacities , the organizational superiority and national outreach of  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar  and Govenor Ifeanyi Okowa will be unmatched by the APC flag bearers in the forthcoming contest.’’

The Kano State PDP gubernatorial aspirant noted that Governor Okowa’’ is a gentle, noiseless but goal-getting and ultimate mobilizer and campaigner who will bring the invaluable assets of his experience into our party’s campaign.’’

According to Jafar Sani Bello, the paradigm of an effective governing structure is already beginning to emerge from the enviable team that our presidential candidate is building as evidenced from the selection of a well accomplished and popular South-South Governor.

The Kano State PDP aspirant urged the national party leaders to facilitate the process of uniting and strengthening the party at the state levels to ensure an overwhelming defeat of the APC in the 2023 General Election .

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
