PDP Youth Leader Calls for Alignment With Obaseki’s Leadership Vision 

 House of Assembly Aspirant for Ikpoba-Okha, William Otabor, Declares that Gov. Obaseki Holds  the Capacity for the 21st Century Transformation of Edo State


A former contender for the 2023 House of Assembly Ikpoba-Okha Candidacy ,Williams Otabor, has called on members of the PDP in Edo State to join efforts with Governor Obaseki in the galvanizing momentum for the evolvement of a unique economic and political entity. According to the international economist with vast background in finance and global development strategies,’’ Governor Obaseki represents the best opportunity for Edo State to achieve accelerated multi-sector flourish in the 21st Century.’’

In a media statement issued over the weekend, William Otabor, condemned what he described as the ‘’regrettable squandering’’ of valuable time consequent on the internal crisis afflicting the PDP in Edo Sate. The international economist remarked that some factional leaders of the PDP in Edo State have become’’ huge obstacles’’ on the road to progress in a way that history will be very unkind for such action. Continuing, William Otabor contended that instead of engaging with the Governor on issues of collective economic benefits,’’ the PDP narrow-minded fractional elements have prioritized their selfish political opportunism over the common good’’.

William Otabor further remarked that Governor Obaseki has justifiably acquired the profile of a torch bearer for modern democratic politics in Nigeria.‘’ With  the significant team role that he played in the victorious PDP outcome in the recent Osun State gubernatorial election as well as the overwhelming victory that he recorded in the 2020 Edo State  governorship contest, the Governor is structuring the path of an endearing democratic politics  in the country’’, William Otabor declared. 

The global development strategist emphasized the need for a thoughtful and broad understanding of the imperatives for societal advancement in the 21st Century remarking that there’s no bright prospect  for a people mired in the abyss of retrogressive politics.

William Otabor therefore appealed to the members of Edo State PDP to urgently and earnestly embrace the energetic transformative economic and political initiative of Governor Obaseki to ensure that the citizenry gain maximum benefits from the administration these ‘’ propitious times.’’

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
