Gov. Obaseki's Campaign In Oredo was Enviably Successful, Declares Hon. Osunde


From Oredo LGA , the Train of Progress Travels to Sept 19th Victory 

192 -Ward Campaign Across the State was a Demonstration of Electoral Grassroots Lesdership by Gov.Obaseki 

The Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde has described the PDP 2020 gubernatorial campaign in Oredo as " enviably successful and an unmistakable signal of the defeat of APC in the September 19th contest ."


Hon. Osunde told journalists at the Edokpolor Grammar School  venue of Wards 6 and 7 PDP  Campaign in Benin  that " the massive response of Oredo community was remarkably impressive ."

" Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki has successfully completed a highly interactive campaign across the 192 electoral Wards of the state noting that Oredo LGA was the last leg of the state -wide political mobilization ." Hon. Osunde declared that " from the Oredo LGA frontline , the victory train will move unstoppably to a the location of peoples' celebration on September 19th. "

The LGA Chairman concluded that the gubernatorial election will be " won outrightly " based on the outstanding achievements of the administration

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.   President Bola Tinubu today (Friday) received in audience, His Royal Majesty, Omon’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin and his delegation at the State House, Abuja. The Oba of Benin is meeting with Tinubu for the first time after his inauguration as Nigeria’s President on May 29th.
