Described the Massive Turnout for the Recent PDP Campaign in Benin as the Irreversible Indication of people's Enthusiasm for Governor Obaseki .



Governor Obaseki's Victory is Sacred and Irreversible 



The Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde has expressed confidence that Oredo electorate will represent a " significant positive  factor in the victory count for the re-election of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki ."


Hon. Osunde told the media in Benin that the successful rallies held on Saturday in Oredo LGA presented a " dependable barometer indicative of the direction of the LGA voters for the gubernatorial election ." 




" The streets of our local government were specially energized with the enthusiasm of the people for the campaign train of the PDP , the chants of ' Ogbane'  resonated from every corner of the 12 electoral 12 Wards of the LGA, the entire atmosphere of Oredo was transformed in celebration as the state-wide PDP Campaign train arrived at the local government ", observed the Council Chairman .


Continuing with the review of the Saturday PDP Oredo rally , Hon .Osunde noted that " it would be corrosive to the  evolvenent of cherished democratic culture for the APC to attempt a subversion of the will of the people."


The LGA Chairman concluded with the declaration that " Oredo is Ready and the our people are going to make History with a remarkable voting population for a remarkable Governor . "

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
