Our Obligation for the Re-election of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki

30 DAYS TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL, PEACEFUL AND DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION IN EDO STATE

Our Obligation for the Re-election of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki

A public memo from Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde

(Executive Chairman, Oredo Local Government Council )

Highlights from Hon. Osunde’s Memo to Oredo LGA Voters

‘’ It is clear from the various objective assessment of the political terrain that an overwhelming solid majority of Oredo LGA voters are irrevocably  committed to the re-election of Governor Obaseki based on the indisputable achievements in  his first tenure.

I’m however urging all of us in this premier frontline Local Government to be increasingly alert to our civic responsibility regarding the September 19th gubernatorial election. I’m sure that some of you must have been watching the shameless desperate attempt by APC to turn our characteristically peaceful and beautiful local government into a theatre of bestial violence.  We cannot afford to lose our focus, we must and we shall keep our eyes on the prize despite these acts of crude provocation.

I’m profoundly appreciative of the various groups from market women to pensioners, youths, teachers, public servants as well as business men and women who have repeatedly assured me that their indelible preference is for progressive continuity to ensure that the Governor accelerates from project implementation to consolidation of the developmental momentum in his second term.

For the next 30 days, let us remain extra vigilant to ensure that we save Edo State from sinking into a regime of regression. Please join me in the countdown to the Day of our Victory. Make Oredo the indisputable center of the largest vote cast for our amiable Governor on September 19th. The day is coming and with you, our victory is certain! Oredo is Ready !
