Happy birthday to our amiable governor, His excellency Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki Your emergence as the governor of our state saw the introduction of cross pollination of ideas between the private sector, public sector and other critical stakeholders has already begun to bear fruit, in moving Edo State forward. 

Though it has not been an easy task in the past three years, with criticisms and disparaging remarks from various groups of persons but the governor has kept his head up and undeterred to putting the state on a redemptive path.

In less than four years, your administration has recorded significant achievements across all sectors; from the area of economic growth, education, agriculture, infrastructure, health, sports development, education, among others.

We from Godwin Obaseki Shaibu Group (GOSG) and other progressive citizens of Edo State expresses gratitude to God for successes recorded and for engendering hope in the youths and people of Edo State by showing them pathways to fulfilling and successful lives.

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
