Oredo LGA chairman Celebrate Gov. Obaseki @63

...Obaseki Is The Quintessence of Service to Humanity, Says Hon. Osunde 

The Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde has observed that the 63rd ( 1st July) birthday celebration of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki was’’ far beyond mere Calendar year reckoning.’’ In a statement released to the media in Benin-City today, the Oredo Council Chairman said that the’’ more profound significance of the Governor’s life is exemplified in the positive impact and the elevation of the socio-economic fortunes of the people that he serves.’’

Hon. Osunde affirmed that in all areas of his life’s endeavour, ‘’both in the private sector and as a successful and accomplished Governor, His Excellency has established a model for selflessness in dedication to catalyzing societal progress.’’

In the words of the Oredo LGA Chairman: ‘’ It has been a privilege for me to gain intimate knowledge of the phenomenal humanity, the spiritual essence, the technocratic ability and the political capacity giving total definition to our amiable and caring leader.’

Hon. Osunde concluded that through ‘’ providential inspiration, Edo people will have reasons for another major celebration this year with the resounding re-election of the Governor for a well-deserved second term’’.

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
