Edo APC Crisis: Buhari May Preside Over Party’s Funeral Before 2023- Adjoto

Benin- Alhaji Kabiru Adjoto, the immediate past speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly on Friday said it is time for President Muhammadu Buhari to speak out on the political crisis rocking the Edo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the party’s governorship primaries.

He also blasted the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party led by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, describing it as a dog feeding on its children.

Speaking in a chat with Edo Magazine Adjoto who was optimistic that Governor Godwin Obaseki will be sworn- in for a second term said Edo election will determine the fate of APC in Nigeria.

Adjoto who said they missed Alhaji Abba Kyari, the former Chief of Staff to the President said President Buhari may preside over the funeral of the party even before his tenure comes to an end in 2023.

In his words “Obaseki will be sworn in November 12th as governor Edo State for his second term. The National Working Committee of APC is now like a dog feeding on its own children”.

“Edo election will decide the fate of APC in Nigeria. The President should come out boldly and talk now or else he will preside over the funeral of APC before 2023”.

“We miss Alhaji Abba Kyari.May his soul rest in peace” he said.
