OREDO LGA CHAIRMAN JOINS THE PDP

....PDP is the legitimate platform for Gov. Obaseki’s 2nd term aspirations, Hon. Osunde

People Democratic Party(PDP), Oredo Ward 6 on Sunday, the 21st of June witnessed an enthusiastic ceremony as the Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area , Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde receives his membership card as a member of  the party . The card presentation ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of PDP, Ward 6, Mr. Efosa Adesotu. 

Mr. Adesotu noted that the PDP was enthusiastic in receiving the members of the APC especially in preparation for the historic mission of securing 2nd term victory for Governor Obaseki.

In his own remarks, Hon. Osunde said that both the new and old members of the PDP ‘’ were now joined together in a mutual relationship with a sacred obligation to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of Edo 
people in the election of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki .’’

Continuing, the LGA Chairman said that based on the already existing political capacity of the PDP and the infusion of the organizational energy of the APC members now joining the PDP in Ward 6, that the 
Ward will unfailingly play a front line role in the re-election of the Governor.’’ Hon. Osunde expressed appreciation to the leadership of PDP Oredo Ward 6 for the enthusiasm with which they welcomed him to the party .

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
