A pro Obaseki-Shaibu Group, GOSG give reasons why Governor Godwin  Obaseki and Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu should be re-elected.

Eye-marking the infrastructural projects that cuts across the state,  the group have urged  the governor of Edo state to remain focus on delivering long-term infrastructure assets.


It is unarguable that a 4-year term will not be enough for Godwin Obaseki's innovations to be properly institutionalised; however for constitutional requirement, we are determined to enthrone our performing Governor for another 4-year term once the current term elapses; this is not for sympathy sake or empathy for Mr. Godwin Obaseki, it is only geared towards encapsulating good-governance ideals within the fabrics of Edo's political trajectory whereby successive administrations irrespective of party will continue along the line of purposeful governance 

A sample Analysis carried out by GOSG MEDIA  and it's experts Show that majority of Edos at home and in diaspora wants Godwin Obaseki to remain as Edo governor for another four years.

There is no section where the WAKE AND SEE governor is not making impact. Let look at the *construction of Roads*

more than 300 roads are currently under construction in different communities across Edo state. Research shows that 85 percent of the roads had been completed while other were ongoing Some of the completed roads include *the dualisation of TV/Eheakpen road, oko central road, Jemide-Akhiobare road, Giwa Amu street, Etete/Guobadia road, 1st and 2nd Ugbor road, ikpokpan  road and Nekpen-Nekpen road*

 Others are: *Construction of Pedestrian Bridge at the University of Benin Main gate, rehabilitation of wash out bridge on Sabongida-Ora-Uzebba-Ifon road, college road, Uzebba-Okpujie-Akagbor Road, Edebiri Irowa street, Osuma Goodwill street, Erediawa street off Ekenwan road, Igbessnwan-Aruosa Street, Construction of high court internal roads, James Watt Road, Idahosa Street, Ugoneki-Ugieghudu-Ehor road, Country home road, Ibiwe road, Oba Eweka/Ogba road, commercial Avenue, Medical store road, wire road, lucky way, Boundary road, Gapiona road, irhirhi-Aruogba-Obazagbon-Obagienevbosa-Ogheghe road, poultry road and omoruyi road* have all been completed

While the Dualisation of Ekenwan road, Benin-Abraka road, St.Saviour road, Ugbor-Amagba road and numbers of other roads are ongoing.
With all these the governor deserves another four years completes this project

*let take a look at his  Education Transformation* Edo State Government has train over 11,300 primary school teachers through  *EDOBEST initiative* while over 240 schools had been rebuilt. Governor Obaseki in his new year message said that his priority this year 2020 is to improve the quality of education in Secondary Schools System
What about the *Remodeled Science and Technical college,* *Remodeled College of Education,*  *Revamping Ambrose Ali University,*
With this we can say the governor has done well in the education sector

 *What about  Agricultural sector?,*
 Let's look at the Urhonigbe Rubber Estate
Research from GOSG Expert show that the rubber estate has taking shape in line with the state government resolve to turn the state to the glory days of plantation farming. The rubber plantation with a N5bn investment will cover more than 2000 hectares and is expected to create more than 300 jobs in the community.

In less than 4years as a governor, Edo state has witness

Increase in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR),
Civil Service Reforms,
Revamped Secretariat Complex, 
Edo Innovation hub,
Edo production centre,
EdoJobs Portal,
Increase in Tourism,
Quick payment of Edo state Pensioners salaries,
The new court Complexes

With all this Achievements I can easily tell that Edo people will ensure that Obaseki will be reelected as the governor of Edo state

Shaibu, Edo Deputy Governor resumes work in his new office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Tuesday morning, officially resumed work in his new office at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue very close to Edo state government house. This was after noticing that his former office in government house have been locked up by security men attached to government house.  Recall that on Monday, Philip Shaibu claimed that he had not received any official communication for him to relocate to the new office, he also said it was only the civil savants attached to his office that was relocated.  He was seen standing  by the entrance to his former office, which was under lock. He was also seen making a call to an unknown individual, pleading to help him call the governor to know why his former office was locked. Shaibu was also complaining to the unknown individual that he was yet to receive any letter asking him to relocate.
